Way Of Life:

A special sense of community has developed among those who share the Point as we are neighbors who share the bond of a very unique and beautiful place to live.

By living on the oceanfront you are surrounded by surreal beauty which changes incessantly with the rhythms of the tides. Living right on the shorefront allows you to walk out onto your own beach and make it a part of your everyday world. Being able to experience the ocean on a daily basis creates a feeling of integration with nature that is exhilarating and enriching.

Diverse wildlife share the Point with you and become a very real part of your everyday world. Seals swim by looking in your front window while bald eagles and osprey circle overhead having nested nearby. The water and sky are full of ducks and loons, gulls and cormorants. The air is full of the sound of the waves rolling in, incessant bird calls, and sometimes even the growl of seals as they compete for the best rock for sunning themselves. Whitetail deer abound to the point of being a gardener's nuisance, and pileated woodpeckers and owls are resident on the Point. There even is a rare moose - as well as a wonderful story about a cougar which has remained unseen for 40 years but who lives on in legend if not in fact.
